In March, Danny "El Puma" Silva, last fought at The 02 in London and knocked out, undefeated prospect, Kurtis Campbell, early in the second round. 

Fast forward to August, he was out on a run and his body shut down. He'd been training through what he thought was a rib injury. Turned out to be multiple blood clots - a large one in his neck, part of it broke off and traveled to his lung. Three nights in the hospital, the doctors told him that plenty of people don't survive that.

He's out now, on blood thinners, and not cleared to fight. He doesn't know if he'll fight again, but El Puma refuses to let this stop him.
